Original solicitation, February 27, 2017:

Gorgo - Volume 1: Gwandanaland Comics #123 -- His Complete Stories In Two Giant Volumes -- All Gorgo -- No Filler

304 pages

“Spewed up from the bottomless depths by a volcanic eruption that reached back 2,000,000 years in time to give the world one horrifying glimpse of a species we had thought extinct. Gorgo came forth, a thing of terror with massive jaws, awesome fangs capable of crunching ships or tanks....as a dog does a bone! Gorgo's incredible strength was to paralyze the greatest city on the Earth...rout the mighty British Navy....and teach man once more that his own greed is his most terrible danger....and if unchecked could someday destroy him!”

Updated solicitation, September 9, 2018 (from Facebook):

Since Gorgo Volume 2 had to be retired, there was material available to add to the first book; but, since having a Volume 1 doesn't make sense without a Volume 2, we created this instead.

Gorgo - The Monster From The Sea: Gwandanaland Comics #123 --- The Full Public Domain Collection of A Classic 1960s Movie Monster! A Creature from Another Time!

386 PAGES

If you have V1 but not V2, you can exchange your current book for this larger one. Obviously, if you have V2, you have no need for it.

For those who suggested that books which are replaced should have new Gwandanaland Comics numbers, while I appreciate the perspective, we don't want to have any "missing" numbers; in fact, it is our goal to fill in all the blanks so that someone can confidently know that every # has a current, available book. I know not everyone is in love with the overall master# system, but it is more popular than not.

This is the complete public domain GORGO collection; those issue published after 1963 are under copyright and unavailable – but this is one MONSTER of a book!

Clarification: In September, 2018, due to uncertainty about its public domain status, the publisher immediately and voluntarily pulled Gorgo - Volume 2 from their catalog. The issues in that book which were still in the public domain were moved to this book, expanding the original content, and the title was changed from "Gorgo - Volume 1" to "Gorgo - The Monster From The Sea."
