    The first published Guardians of the Galaxy was a team of freedom fighters in the 31st century. The name was later used for the team Star-Lord formed to deal with galactic-level threats in present day. The present day team's name was influenced by a member of the 31st century team who had time traveled to the present.

    As we all know the tragedy that happened in issue 19 of guardians of the galaxy I was wondering who would be good to be with the guardians

    Since Quasar is back now, he would make a good addition for now. I think we have to wait until Realm of Kings is over to see what is really going to happen. I've seen preview issues with the Magus coming up in the near future.
