The name was later used for the team Star-Lord formed to deal with galactic-level threats in present day. The present day team's name was influenced by a member of the 31st century team who had time traveled to the present.

    Not a bad list to get in speed of what's been going on at cosmic side for the past 10 years or so.

    Infinity and Original sin are so and so to include in the list when GOTG are concerned, They really don't do anything in those two series except hold two panels in infinity #6 and Rocket & Gamora have small parts in Original sin (mostly as space-chauffeurs, go figure) though it admittably made my inner fan boy giggle to see Rocket snark at Punisher in issue #4.
