Lay Half Naked
The usually dependable Grimm Fairy Tales concept goes into familiar territory here as it channels the early part of the series as opposed to the more intricate (and less engaging) format which followed. By this point the Myths and Legends series follows the concept of the original much better, and that is what this feels like - a story based on a legend that is drawn out from the usual single issue. It is a bit of a break that the protagonist is a male character (though this is not unheard of either) but in this case it really has to work as there is no real other option than a male Headless Horseman. The manner by which this comes about is a bit more violent than usual and ties into some of the same essence of the early Grimm Fairy Tales by framing this around contemporary problems. Overall this is a pretty engaging story and sets the scene well for what may follow in the series.
