I would say that to this point that this series has been quite good, but in this issue it takes a small step backwards.  The problem as it seems to me is that the series spends some time in this issue trying to create something which is already there.  The first two issues have set a standard for suspense and horror (and occasionally gore) but some work here goes to establishing that even more which cause the momentum of the plot to stall a little bit.  The same occurs later with Violet's abduct...
