After a disappointing blandness last issue, this one grabs the more interesting finale and runs with it for the entire issue, managing to end in an even MORE interesting place. While we're still in a phase of 'episodic' issues, they're now linking together a more cohesive storyline from one to the next. While last issue set up this one, this issue takes place entirely aboard the Dameonite ship Grifter is captive on. And Sohpia goes to save for reasons still completely unattempted to explain.Scot...

Believe in me for one more minute 0
It feels in some sense that this series is starting to level off somewhat. The first few issues were quite well handled and quite interesting, but as time has gone on the series is veering more towards average than outstanding. That having been said though, there is still enough in this issue to get interested in. The action here involves the impending sacrifice of Grifter to the Black Curate and his temporary reunion with Gretchen. Things would not go so easily even with the two of them fig...
