    During a gunfight, Philadelphia police officer Greg Hettinger was shot in the face and accidentally fired blindly. When he awoke in the hospital, he realized he was now a killer, scarred, and then became hooked on painkillers. The only thing left for him to do was put on a hood and continue his fight against crime.

    THE BLACK HOOD is the first title from the new Dark Circle imprint (formerly Red Circle) from Archie Comics.
