At one point there was a Star Trek movie which featured in it Data saying lock and load with phaser rifles or some such thing and not even knowing about the actual mechanism of conventional firearms, I knew that something was wrong with this statement.  A little further research confirmed my suspicion, that you wouldn't need to lock and load an energy weapon as there would very likely be no bolt in it.  So I kind of made the association that any such use of the term around science fiction was mo...

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! This is why GLC should've stuck with switching the cover artist every issue. Kubert's first cover was stellar, his second one was mediocre, and this one is just.... hilariously ridiculous. I get what it's going for, but damn, it just looks kind of bad. It's just too overly macho, and Kubert's trying too hard to make the guns look huge instead of showing how many there are.Because storywise the guns were a fantastic idea.
