    Alpha Lanterns of Brightest Day!

Story: Cyborg Superman is forcing Ganthet to save Alpha Lantern Glibberquip, but Ganthet does not know how an Alpha Lantern is assembled or works. Ganthet runs out of time and Glibberquip kills himself. Now he wants him to try and revert another Alpha Lantern back to normal. In the underground John is telling Sora and Kyle all about Cyborg Superman and why he needs Ganthet. They realize that they need Stel. They also need the robot's Green Lantern. Kyle wants to call for back up but that will definitely attract Cyborg Superman's attention. In the antimatter universe a man in a hawk helmet has a white lantern and he is going to use it as a weapon. Back at Cyborg Superman's location he sends Alpha Lantern Boodikka to go and investigate the signal they are getting. John, Kyle and Sora form the robot's Green Lantern with their rings to make them think he is there, but that ends when Boodikka arrives. She is quickly stopped and pulverized once Lantern Hannu shows up. Her old state of mind and personality comes back but she is dying. She lets the Green Lanterns re charge off of her.
Writing: I thought the writing was good in this issue. I did feel like not a lot happened but I think it was pretty solid.
Characters: I actually like the characters in this issue.
Dialogue: There wasn't really anything special to the dialogue in this issue.

    Art: Pretty good.
Cover: The cover was okay. It told exactly what was gonna happen in the issue.
Penciling: I don't really like the character penciling because it comes off a little sketchy.
Coloring: The coloring is good and solid.

    My favorite scene!
My favorite scene is when Boodikka's personality came back. I like that there is a way to bring back their mind but we don't if you can bring back their body.

Reasons to and not to pick up.
Reasons to pick up: The story was good and some pretty good art.
Reasons not to pick up: This issue did feel like a filler and some of the art is not that great.
Verdict: Pick it up. 3.5 out of 5.

The Good: Revelation about why Cyborg Superman needs Ganthet. I liked it, it was something I totally hadn't thought about, and the timing for the reveal was nice. Art was pretty nice, I still miss Patrick Gleason though. All the main characters were used in a nice balance and well characterized. Ganthet feels EMOTIONS.  The Bad: For the second time this week a cover told too much. I just this week picked up The RIse of Arsenal and the cover of #2 told us what happened on THE LAST PAGE OF THE ISS...

This is one of the less common issues where a character does not get to use their superpowers and instead has to rely on their own ingenuity.  Soranik, Kyle and John are trapped in the caves of Grenda with their rings depleted or nearly so.  Meanwhile on the surface Hank Henshaw has Ganthet engaged in a difficult task and one which Ganthet takes on only with great hesitation.  Eventually the Lanterns below the surface manage a distress call and manage to rally some of the locals to their cause (...
