    Synopsis

After the wake of the Blackest Night, the Alpha-Lanterns are struggling to keep their power and to break off from the Guardian's control. In that quest for power they are attempting to recruit other lanterns into their fold by force.

    The Good

The art is pretty good. Great detail in each panel and I'm liking the new artist on the book. I also liked the plot in this issue. I didn't see the ending coming and was caught by surprise. I am getting to like a John centered book as I'm used to always seeing Guy Gardner in most of the pages. It was a good thing to see that Guy was completely absent as he will have his own title "Emerald Warriors". I can see where this story arc is heading, Revolt of the Alpha-Lanterns. I'll ride this one out and am curious how this will pan out.

    The Bad

There's really nothing bad in this book.

    Verdict (4/5)

This book is filled with great artwork and a captivating storyline, however I wasn't blown away by either. Therefore I will award this with an above average rating of 4/5 on the Richter scale. If you haven't been reading GLC check out this story arc!

The notion of green representing will div...

This issue as with most in either this series or Green Lantern is still seeking a bit of an identity after the huge crossover ran off a string of memorable issues.  Here though the story finally seems to get some better grounding back.  In somewhat of a departure thus far in this series, a large part of the action here focuses on John Stewart (who is more usually in Green Lantern) as he travels with Boodikka to Grenda to investigate what has been happening.  When his signal is lost Soranik, Kyle...
