    Review: Green Lantern Corps #48 0

    Ganthet leaves his long term job as a Guardian, for both the Green and Blue Lantern Corps in order to become a Green Lantern. John Stewart teams up with the Alpha Lanterns.  The Good Everything seems to be a tie-in with Brightest Day, and although it seems incredibly annoying, this issue is anything but that. It finally feels like the Green Lantern Corps book is doing its own thing for once as Ganthet becomes a Green Lantern, and as John Stewart assists Boodikka. This story also has a "one of us...

    This is another issue which has the unfortunate requirement to follow on the end of Blackest Night and to try to capture the attention of the reader.  There is enough going on here, just not as much of it seems as pressing as events two issues previous.  Instead of the feeling of immediacy this feels a lot more relaxed as the reader is taken on a bit of a tour of Oa and its various inhabitants before any forward looking plot is established (well except for parts on Ysmault.)  In fact some parts ...

    Green Lantern Corps 48: The new Honor Guard! 0

    The Story   We see some Brightest Day stuff, but nothing you could not see on other books, most of the story goes around Ganthlet becoming a Lantern and a subplot with some other "lanterns" popping up. And these blue guys down here seem to be a little bit more understanding since the punch in the face they received last month.The Guardians, those little big headed old blue guys.   The Good  We see the forging of a Battery and a ring, which may or may not imply stuff but it is good to see it ...
