Compassion must sometimes be tempered with might
This is yet again a stellar issue in a run of stellar issues. This issue deals with the reclamation of Guy from the clutches of the Red Lantern Corps. It is a one sided battle mostly, not due to Guy's overwhelming strength but rather because his fellow Corps members can only think of one way of stopping him, which they are not considering (though some unlikely ones break down a little as the crisis continues.) Mogo intervenes and tries to find a cure which involves Guy facing all of his internal demons, but when that is not successful then Kyle intervenes, unwilling to let his friend succumb. As the crisis is dealt with another arises and all the Lanterns are drawn back to Earth for a faceoff against Nekron in a cliffhanger that was really well built up to. Excellent issue, another which makes the entire story arc such a compelling read.
