    Safe from the crusade 0

    As the series is wrapping up Emerald Eclipse and leading into Blackest Night this issue sort of takes a step back for explanation before heading into some more familiar territory.  The first part of this issue is taken up between Sinestro and Soranik as he explains his revelation from the previous issue that he is her father.  Following this are a few pages filled with panels of the Corps members fighting off the riot in the sciencells.     In the last issue it was revealed that Sinestro is Green Lantern Soranik Natus father.  Most of their conversation at the beginning of this issue is a father-daughter revelation type thing, with Sinestro revealing that he had given up Soranik to protect her from those that threatened him and his family.
