In comparison to the lead-in issue, the story here feels as though it has hit some kind of a speed bump.  Certainly in the buildup of things to come for the Green Lantern Corps the developments here are interesting, but the amount of dialogue which is of an explanatory nature tends to slow things down a fair bit here.  The issue primarily focuses on a meeting between the Zamorans and the Guardians, who are being escorted by some of the most senior or powerful members of the Corps.  The explanation of who the Zamorans are and what they are trying to accomplish does advance the overall understanding of the developments both in this series and in in Green Lantern but the conversation takes on the feel of a lecture most of the time.  The little b it of action involves Kyle and Soranik and a few other Lanterns that are investigating the death of two Lanterns that are parents.  The ending revelation is not anything monumental, though of course it will have some effects on the future of the Corps.  There was not as much going on in this issue but at the same time I can't really fault it because in order to get to the monumental places it is going, the series needs an occasional issue such as this.
