Digging up old bones
This issue is solely a battle between Sodam (now with the power of Ion) and Superman Prime. Sodam has just learned that the yellow sun gives him additional powers and is therefore is not as adept in the fight as compared to Superman Prime. As the fight switches between different venues it also looks back at Sodam's background, as a child who was curious about the worlds beyond but who was encouraged by his parents never to look beyond the confines of his own planet. Of as a Green Lantern it is obvious where he went with this encouragement, and this frames the battle with his foe quite well. The battle itself in comparison is not really handled as well, it is still interesting and well paced, just it seems to be almost secondary to the plot at times although it takes up most of the panels. Overall though this was a pretty fun issue.
