    good smackdown scene

Part 3 of the Sinestro Corps War is in the Green Lantern Corps title, issue #14. This is a great introduction to the history of Korugar, the home planet of Sinestro which is now under the protection of a new Green Lantern. Doctor Soranik Natu has potential but she seems afraid to take on the responsibility of even being a Green Lantern no less being the protector of Sinestro’s former sector, 1417. It takes a very strong willed Lantern to take this assignment and this woman just didn’t impress me.

It’s a good battle and ends with an interesting twist. Sinestro wins but wants the people of Korugar to believe that he lost. He’s clearly got a bigger plan that we’ll have to see play out in this month’s Green Lantern title, #22, where we get to see a traitor within the Guardians. The battle of Mogo will continue in Green Lantern Corp #15 – that might just be a pass unless you’re a die-hard corps fan.
