    Hal Jordan vs. Krona 4

Hal Jordan faces Krona and the fate of the universe depends on the outcome.  The Good As a long time Green Lantern fan, it's never been a better time to be reading. When we started seeing more and more Lantern Corps/Emotional Entities, I started getting a little skeptical. As the stories continue to roll out, I've been getting more and more excited. WIth the revelation that Krona was the mysterious shadow Guardian, I've been waiting to see what his next move would be. With his plan to gather all...

When will Hal accept help from his friends? 1

Cover The cover art was very good. I could not ask for more. I thought really was a great cover. Story Hal and Krona fight and Hal says that the good guys never lose so that is the reason he keeps on fighting even though his ring has low on power. Hal falls in battle and the Flash brings him to Superman and Batman who wants help him but Hal does not accept the help. Best Part There were a lot of things to love in this issue. I use to never be a Green Lantern fan and now with every issue I ...

The story: Krona kidnaps almost all of the entitles and Hal and his crew are attempting to prevent that but are easily overwhelmed by Krona's new abilities. After Krona defeats the New Guardians, the JLA offers Hal some help in defeating Krona but Hal refused and joined the New Guardians into finding and defeating him.  Good: I like the way it goes because it engrossed me into the stories they made. Also with the suspense, drama, action found in superhero  books nowadays, it's a good read.  Bad:...

    Green Lantern #62 3

The New Guardians arc concludes and paves the way for the upcoming War of The Green Lanterns event.    The Good  I really like this cover. Love the contrast between the heroic Justice League and the morally questionable (to say the least) leaders of the other Corps.  I've always liked Krona as a villain. In the past he's been portrayed as a mad scientist who took his search for knowledge too far, which was perfectly executed. However, I love the way John's has managed to make him a truly derange...

    Think you have Willpower? 1

If now I´m a fan of the DC Universe I got two people to blame for: Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis. They´re resposible for draggin me down into the Green Lantern world and even after Blackest Night, despite Brightest Day and the last couple issues not being the best work of Johns, this issue really showed that he did his homework and that the next arc story will be great. Krona is an impressive oponent, not sure yet if he´s 100% villain and evil, since his only mistake (sure, it brought along the Anti...

On the eve of war 0

This issue does a decent enough job as a lead-in to the War of the Green Lanterns.  With Krona on Earth and with a number of the entities trapped he is facing off a collection of Lanterns plus the Flash.  An interesting though not particularly well paced battle breaks out between Hal and Krona, which results in a lot more of posturing and grandstanding than it does in actual action.  Still as the action moves on and Hal's friends beseech him to work together with Earth's heroes instead of turnin...
