    All you need is love.

Story: At the junkyard, Hal and Larfleeze are being chased by Hector Hammond. Hector has total control of Larfleeze's lantern. Hector wants Carol so Hal and Larfleeze go to Las Vegas to protect her. On planet Zamaron, the central battery is dimming. They need a core undying love so one of the counsel members recommends finding Hawkman and Hawkgirl but the queen says no. The queen is dying and has a little bit of strength left to keep it lit for a small time, but they need to find the predator. Carol Ferris is hunting him now in Las Vegas. The queen contacts Carol and says she needs to follow the ring wherever it tells her so she can find who is threatened by the predator. The predator has found the target, a photographer who has had an eye for a waitress. He takes over the man and goes after the girl. We find out that all the man ever wanted was some affection so Carol kisses him and retrieves the predator. At the end the queen dies and names Carol the queen of Zamaron.
Writing: I really like how this issue focused on Carol because we don't really get to see that much of her. I also really liked focusing on the love entity for a change. The humor in this issue with Larfleeze was very good, but the only thing I didn't like is how  this predator randomly came about. Also I feel like this series is getting side tracked with other situations other then the white lantern and brightest day. What I did like a lot was how Hawman and Hawkgirl were mentioned.
Characters: This issue had a good round up of characters but I would've liked to see more of Hector.
Dialogue: It was pretty good in this issue. I liked the humor with Larfleeze and the reference to Hawkman and Hawkgirl.

    Art: Great as always.
Cover: The cover was okay but a little misleading.
Penciling: It is just amazing and vivid.
Coloring: Awesome! My favorite art scene was when Carol kissed the predator.

    My favorite scene!
I really loved it when Carol was named queen of Zamaron because I feel that she needs a bigger role.

Reasons to and not to pick up.
Reasons to pick up: This story was good and solid. Amazing art. If you are a big Carol Ferris fan then this a must have.
Reasons not to pick up: The predator was a little random. I feel that Green Lantern is veering away from Brightest Day.
Verdict: Pick it up. 4 out of 5.

The Good: Oh Larfleeze, your comedic rantings are ever an endless source of eternal hilarity. VIVA LAS VEGAS! Also, GREAT GLOMULUS! "ALL YOU CAN EAT"?! I HAVE ARRIVED! The Predator was pretty cool. I really like the way he works with his host as opposed to some of the others. The way he's different is really interesting. Carol's understanding was a nice moment. The whole deal with The Predator and the Violet Power Battery was interesting, especially the fact that the Zamaron's are too stupid to ...

Summary:   Hal's mission drags him now to Vegas with Larfleeze where Carol patrols for the Predator as hit seeks a host, but she is sent to collect him.  The Good:   I remember at my first con (WWC) at a DC forum a gentlemen asked "When will we see a Man- Violet Lantern?" They laughed and joked how he'll look in a one- piece. But from this cover you can clearly see this suit works. Kinda has that David Bowie- Starman look but don't let that fool you. Overall the book had a whole story arc within...
