To be honest this issue doesn't get to the level ever that I hoped it might and as a result the story ends up only partially satiating my interest in this storyline.  There are a lot of good aspects going on here, but primary among the letdowns is how fast the conflict between Hal and the Red Power Ring was handled.  It seemed almost like an afterthought to the rest of the plot developments here most of which were in themselves a little lacking in direction.  The other divergent storylines invol...

This issue is part Rage of the Red Lanterns, Origins & Omens, and the upcoming Blackest Night and War of Light.  What a great issue written execellently by Geoff Johns and drawn beautifully by Ivan Reis! Hal Jordan, Green Lantern, is infected by the red ring and becomes a member of the Red Lanterns of rage after Sinestro kills Laira of the Red Lanterns.  It is cool to see Hal struggle not to kill Sinestro while under the influence of the red and this issue’s conclusion is cool with Hal, but ...
