Dave Gibbons is the perfect GL artist. He gives us classic looking Hal, great anatomy, consistency, expressions, and flare. The man is known for Watchmen fame but you can see his genius pop up in these pages too - which all lead up to a straight up battle issue, old school, and I love it. Gibbons also does the lettering which I found to be comforting. Sometimes the less names you see at the beginning, the better you feel; the more singular the vision and execution of the thing.
