Hal Jordan treats himself to a well earned vacation at a wilderness retreat with his longtime girlfriend and confidant, Carol Ferris. Unfortunately, the two have no idea that they would stumble upon DC's newest science fiction franchise, the Omega Men, a clandestine group of super powered oddities from the Vegan system.

Adam Strange continues his search for Alanna, who was lost when a Zeta Beam misfired in the previous issue. Captured by Alva Xar, he is forced to choose between saving his own life or that of his wife.

Marv Wolfman writes this rather long winded issue, where not a great deal happens. This issue sees Mr. Ferris come back to take over the company and just be an all around jerk, basically. Hal and Carol hit up the Canadian wilderness on a trip and then they run into the Omega Men who decide not to kill them.
