Solid
Opening remarks:
Truth be told, I’ve been looking forward to this issue with some excitement ever since finishing issue 10, even though I’d all but forgotten the Guardians’ diabolical plan during the course of this series.

There’s a lot to like about both this issue and the series so far as a whole. I’m taken with how sharp and precise the pencils are and how the colors blend seamlessly together with everything else. As usual, the story and art complement each other quite well and make for an engaging read. The nice back and forth between Hal and Sinestro both serves nicely to deflate some of the tension felt in the past few issues and to help remind the reader of the overarching story that’s taking place. The parts with Black Hand are, well, pretty creepy and very reminiscent of his Blackest Night origin issue. That being said, we still don’t exactly know what he wants and this issue leaves you curious as to what his actions will be and how they tie into what the Guardians are planning, if they do at all. There’s not a lot of action in this issue but it doesn’t lag as it’s paced pretty well.
Dislikes:
Nothin’ to see here, boss.
Final Verdict:
This was another solid issue that once again illustrates why Green Lantern has been a solid, go-to series of the New 52, though it's still not as quite as good as Justice League Dark :) . A solid story and great art make for a consistently satisfying combination.
