A Hero Is Born

I've always been a fan of the Green Hornet. I always thought of him and Kato as Batman and Robin, only more realistic. I've been reading all of Dynamite's new Hornet books and I think this one takes the cake. We finally get to see the direction this is moving in, and I personally like it (although it's been slightly predictable). Stop reading now if you don't want any spoilers.
 
This issue is the dawning of a new hero and he is hardly qualified for the job. But it looks like he's going to get some help - from two Katos. The writing and art are great and the fight scenes flow nicely. I'm pretty excited for the next issue and the continuation of the birth of Century City's newest hero - The New Green Hornet.

This is the issue that's been teased. Someone is going to die. Who can it be? I wasn't too impressed with the previous issue of this series, but I felt like the potential for fun that is evident with the Green Hornet warranted another try.  I did enjoy this issue as it was well paced and moved the story along quite well, but I still feel like its lacking in the originality department.  I can appreciate basic good guys and bad guys but there's always room to innovate in terms of presentation.  This issue picks up where the last one ended, in the all too common fundraiser p...
