She grew up with the company of heroes, and after years of training, followed in her parent's footsteps by assuming the costume, identity, and legacy of her mother Dinah Drake, the Black Canary.

Barbara Gordon was the first modern age Batgirl until she was brutally shot by the Joker, rendering her paralyzed from the waist down. Barbara reinvented herself as Oracle, providing intelligence to the DCU heroes and leading the Birds of Prey. She has recently become Batgirl once again to protect Gotham City.
A medical doctor who lost his sight, Dr. Pieter Cross can see spectrums of light in total darkness. He works with the JSA to train the heroes of tomorrow, as well as to use his medical knowledge for unusual cases.

He has clashed frequently with Batman, whom he hoped to make his successor.
Athena or Athene, often given the epithet Pallas, is an ancient Greek goddess associated with wisdom, handicraft, and warfare who was later syncretized with the Roman goddess Minerva.
Discord is a sonic villain who fights Green Arrow and Black Canary.
Werner Zytle is the ruler of the country Vlatava, and one of the archenemies of Green Arrow. He uses a device implanted in his head to disorient his foes.
Pro-boxing star Ted Grant, inspired by stories of The Green Lantern, became a superhero to clear his name. Wildcat has served as a mentor to many younger heroes including Batman and Black Canary.
Jefferson Michael Pierce aka Black Lightning, is a teacher and former Olympic Gold Medal-winning athlete. He fights crime using his electrokinetic powers.
Shado is a trained Bushido and kyudo master and lethal with a bow. She is the mother to Green Arrow's half-sister, Emiko Queen.
