I never really got into Smallville so I never saw him on there, but I love Green Arrow. I'd definitely watch a TV show - every time a new superhero film comes out I complain that it isn't a Green Arrow movie. He's one of my favourites.

I want an Ollie like the one from volume 4. That'd be perfect.

Agree wholeheartedly with this one. Love volume 4 Ollie.

I'm excited in the way a huge GA fan should be, but, they've announced the show will just be called "Arrow" and the only thing tying the show to GA is that his name will be Oliver Queen. Hopefully that will change. Also, the guy they have writing it, is the guy who wrote the Green Lantern movie. Just saying.

Justin Hartley was perfect. I don't see anyone else playing the part.

I was starting to rethink dropping GA and waiting for Nocenti to take over with issue seven. Now I am worried that if this pilot gets picked up, she will be hamstrung in her approach to the character because DC will want to keep the concept close to what the television show will be like.

Probably for the best, my DC pull list has 30+ ongoing comics on it. I still need to support some of the other publishers.

When I heard about this series I got really excited. I can't wait to hear more about it. Green Arrow is one of my favorite characters and he deserves a tv show. So, that way ever more people could learn about him. I hope they pick Justin Hartley for Green Arrow because he did a great job on Smallville and to tell you the truth I would not be able to see anyone else play Ollie.

Honestly as big a hero as he is I don't believe Oliver Queen would be able to keep viewers attention long enough to actually make a worth while TV show. network should stick to more likable mainstream heroes like Batman. Batman deserves a more dark and brooting TV show like we were promised anyway. Since Green Arrow is Basically a Robin Hood themed batman anyway he could appear on his show as a recurring guest like on Brave and the Bold. (which was an awesome series despite the campy family friendly script.)

When they do, hopefully it won't be Dawson Creek with super powers like Smallville was.

You know, Green Arrow could really work!

But they need to refocus and absolutely not follow the way he was presented in Smallville. A character like this could barely support a whole show...

Also, he would need a solid background cast of characters.
