    Delve deeper into the origin of the Emerald Archer with Andy Diggle and Jock! Oliver Queen learns the sinister secret of the island he's been trapped on... just in time to come face to face with the mastermind behind his plight. And at long last Oliver Queen takes some responsibility for his fate.

    Oliver, after shooting down a plane that was shooting at him, finds an opium field, and a pregnant native of the island reveals that a group of people, lead by Chien Na-Wei (China White), are forcing the natives of the island to work in the fields to make heroin. Hackett and Oliver fight in the forest, Ollie getting Hachett in the shoulder, & hand, then a tree falls on him. Oliver gets a compound fracture, and passes out.

    Note: The story was originally intended to be 4 issues, hence why issue 1 says "1 of 4" on the cover. By the release of issue 3 the series had been extended to 6 issues.
