The start of the most important but underrated arc

This issue started the most significant arc for anyone who reads the Green Arrow comics, the death of him. Importance aside, here's my good, bad and the ehh moment.

    Good:

Chuck Dixon was really on a role with his writing in Green Arrow those days with the portrayal of a shocked Ollie when he saw Hal who was then loco. He also did a good job on Connor Hawke and Eddie Fyers with a touch of dark humour.

    The Bad:

I'm an art student but maybe I'm not qualified to say this but I'll say it anyways. Jim's pencils looked a bit amateurish and too simplistic, not like the slick issue after this. Sorry

    The Uhh Moment:

Frankly it took me about 30 seconds to figure it out and it was right in front of my face, the cover. I know that never judge a book by its cover but because I knew the contents of the issue, I'll give the cover a spare of my fury.

Verdict: Strong dialogue, but weak in art. 3.5/5
