Almost can see out of the forest

     Cover

I really love the cover art. I wish this was the art inside the issue but the inside art is not that bad but just not as great as the art of the cover.

    Story

Green Arrow has to find the power to fight the demon of the forest and save the white lantern tree.

    Best Part

I liked that we got to see Mia Dearden even though it was only for one panel. I think something I have been waiting for in this series was to see one of my favorite characters and that is Mia. I just hope next time we get to see her in more than one panel. Something that I am very happy to see in this issue is that I can taste almost being out of this forest storyline. It has lasted almost a year now and I just can’t wait until we get a new story.

    Worst Part

I really hate this forest storyline now because even though Ollie is trying to make himself a better hero I feel that nothing as been accomplished. The forest story just has dragged on for far too long. If it accomplished a lot of things then that would have been fine with me but it really has not accomplished anything.

    Art

I really like the art for fighting and that was most of the issue was fighting. So, we were lucky to have this art for this issue. But when he is not fighting I do not really love this art especially how Ollie’s beard looks like in some panels.

    Pick it up or not

      A Crossover done right 0

The Forest is rebelling, a demon is loose and all that stands between those two forces of nature and the rest of the world are Oliver Queen and a ragtag group of powerless heroes. The Good:Avoiding the Crossover-itis: This book does right what every other book seems to do wrong. J.T. Krul takes the chance and gives us new characters in a crossover. Where other writers would just have thrown Batman and Superman in this one - thus making it another boring "Trust me, Superman, even...

      Sweet new equipement ! 0

Issue #11 of Green Arrow.   The Story: Big fight and Ollie gets a magical bow and arrow.   The Good: One thing that is consistent with Krul on the book is awesome fights and this one does deliver and Diogenes Neves art is simply spectacular. Also Ollie's running inner monologue was interesting.   The Bad: Really there wasn't any real substance in this issue other tahn the fight and Ollie's inner monologue. Also we have one panel appearance's by Mia Dearden,Roy and Black Canary in the same panel an...
