First, his gifted guitarist Hiro quits the band to concentrate on his studies. Now the new manager wants to take Shuichi off of keyboards so he'll do nothing but sing. And Shuichi finds himself constantly berated by their producer. Confronted by the reality of the music business, Shuichi questions whether or not he's really cut out to be a professional musician. The one person he can fall back on is his biggest critic, the cynical and abrasive Yuki.
