    The Gang War begins!

Gotham Underground heats up as Penguin and Tobias Whale's gangs collide. Vigilante appears and enters the scene with a bang as Dick Grayson is shot and the battle begins.

This was a very good addition to the great mini series, Gotham Underground. I was happy to see Vigilante finally make it onto the scene and ironacally shoots his enemy, Nightwing without even knowing it's him. I love the idea of Penguin's gang all taking up the mantles of criminals that have been transported to another planet(see Salvation Run). I love the fact that this mini is telling the story of what Gotham would be like without it's major villains and which gangs try to make a move for the city. Love Frank Tieri's writing. He knows how to really handle villains and this story is primarily about the villains. I like the art by Jim Calafiore and the inking by Jack Purcell and Mark McKenna. Can't wait to see where this mini series goes but it's been great so far!
