Sides are being drawn
Synopsis: All hell is breaking loose in Arkham Asylum.
What's Good?
Well, after the intermission with Catwoman and Azrael in the previous issue, we're back to Harley and Joker acting crazier than usual. I like the addition of Black Mask/Alyce Sinner development. Ever since Jeremiah became the second Black Mask, he's had his own agenda with the Arkham inmates. Alyce never settled with me ever since she was introduced and I always felt she was trouble. Jeremiah himself has a twisted mind that's quite different from the Joker, but the interactions between the two was solid. With Catwoman however, let's face it. Selina never really had a place with this series since Dini left. It finally seems like Calloway finally have a use for her. It's nice to see her working with Bruce again.
Other than Guillem March's awesome cover artwork, the artwork for this issue is decent. I really like how the Joker is portrayed, and it seems like Guinaldo took a note from Arkham Asylum with the design.
What's Bad?
The problem I have with this is story is that it's nothing new when it comes to The Joker and Harley. I just don't care anymore. Between the three ladies, I don't expect this story to have them apologize to one another and make up. I consider Gotham City Sirens done for me no matter the outcome of this story and the follow up.
Isn't "Alice" Sinner's name suppose to be Alyce?
Overall: As I said before, it feels like the series is coming to an end. The series really has been struggling after Paul Dini left. However, this issue is a step after the previous two issues.
