    Selina fights back.

It feels like forever since the last issue of Gotham City Sirens. I almost decided not to review this because Bruce Wayne is finally back, but ended up doing so anyway. Selina begins to fight in her dreams, while Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Zatanna, and Talia al Ghul goes on the hunt to rescue her.

    Pros
There's not a whole lot that I liked about this issue. The only thing I liked about this issue was the fact that Selina, Zatanna, and Talia are willing to whatever to protect the identity of Batman. They care for him.

    Cons:
The story, and that the series is behind on current Batman story lines is what I have a problem with this issue. I think this story would have been best a couple of months ago, but not now. If you've been following any current Batman titles, you already know that Selina still knows who Bruce is which almost makes this story pointless. I know I shouldn't complain about this fact because the Batman publications was recently were a bit messed up, but its not easily overlooked for me. Adding a new villain like Sempai is interesting, but I feel that he would have been better introduced in one of the other Batman titles.

Again, the artwork looks average. I like Guillem March's cover, but Andres Guinaldo artwork seems to be losing its touch overtime. The scenes with Selina in her dreams look a bit muggy. I did like the spread page mixed between the present and the dream world.

Overall: Its seems like Gotham City Sirens is going downhill pretty fast. I know Paul Dini is working on Zatanna right now, but I really wish he come back to this series soon. I also hope Guillem March does the artwork too.

The Good: The art was pretty nice, and the fight scenes were excellent. The way the issue moved, transitioning between Catwoman's dream and the Sirens' pursuit was a smart choice of pacing and well pulled off. There was a lot of brilliant panel layouts. The way different things mirrored each other, and a whole bunch of scenes just worked in tandem extremely well. The dialogue is great. harley is a bubbly delightful joy brightening up this issue, and Talia's seriousness brings it back down to ear...

So after a long Hiatus Sirens is back but it brings nothing back from the Dini Days  Plot After Catwoman is captured by an aquaintance of Talia to get the true identity of Batman the Sirens remaining two sirens and honorary frenemy sirens Talia and Zatanna go through the dark belly of underground Gotham to save the rosetta stone of Bat-Secrets  My Opinion So I've given up all hope for the Sirens of Old it just isn't the same Dini's sirens were more like a sub-par chick-flick; women empowerment, ...
