Who you gonna call?? PLANT BUSTERS!
Writing: Ever since Paul Dini stopped writing this I tended to stay away from this series, but I have to tell you that Tony Bedard did a great job with this issue. The way these girls were written in this issue was great. I am back on this series and anxious for more.
Characters: These ladies have such a strong friendship and I love that. I love the characters and I have to say that Harley was my MVP for this issue. Her psychology skills came out in full swing when she talked to Ivy about guys. I loved that.
Dialogue: These ladies have their own distinct dialogue and I love it that way.
Art: Very nice.
Cover: The cover was gorgeous. I really loved it.
Penciling: I did like it a lot.
Coloring: I did have a problem with the coloring. In some panels Harley would have her usual make up on her face, but in some other panels she would have no make up on her face and be tan. Also I think that Selina's suit was too light.
My favorite scene!
It was definitely when Harley talked Ivy out of her rampage. Harley's psychology skills really showed there and I am a big Harley Quinn and Joker relationship fan and her story just had me roped in.
Reasons to and not to pick up.
Reasons to pick up: This was a good solid issue. The characters were great and the art was good. Tony Bedard really did a great job with this issue and I am excited to see more.
Reasons not to pick up: I was disappointed to see that Selina wasn't really dealing with her emotions about her sister in the past two issues. Also the coloring wasn't the greatest.
Verdict: Pick it up! 4 out of 5!!
