Let's just hope this issue is a minor hiccup this series 0

The good Crazy plot points will keep you shocked up until the very end of this issue. Catwoman’s sister shows her uber crazy side and it is fun to read. The Bad While the plot is grand, the transition from storyline to storyline doesn’t flow well at all, this makes it very choppy. The art isn’t as good as the last issue, especially in regards to Ivy and Catwoman. The look on the character just doesn’t seem as polished as it usually does. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out if this issue was ba...

Review: Gotham City Sirens #12 1

With the help of Harley Quinn, Catwoman searches for her estranged sister while Poison Ivy escapes from captivity in the lab. The Good Ah... it's been a while since I've read a story with a good, unreliable narrator, so it was fun to experience most of this through the eyes of Catwoman's clearly demented sister, Maggie. The angle remind me a bit of the Bill Paxton movie, Frailty.  It gave the whole plot an added spice and made the parts where she kills the cat and brut...

So what do a cat and a nun have in common? 0

Well this is interesting. Last issue was almost a filler issue (my review will come for it later) except for the end when Ivy was trapped at Stars Lab. Now we are introduced to a new arc called "Sister Zero" which involves Selina's sister.  Pros:  Story: I say this is interesting because if anyone followed a little bit of Catwoman during Blackest Night, last time we saw her sister was when she was running from the first Black Mask (revived as a Black Lantern) and with the help Selina and her pal...

P.E.T.A. should not read this issue! 0

Story At Gotham Cathedral, Selina has the Archbishop pinned to the floor as she is gaining access to her sister's file. Selina's sister is a nun and living on the street and Selina wants to know how she is and what she's doing. At S.T.A.R. Labs, Poison Ivy breaks free out of the dehydration chamber Alissa put her in. Sister Agatha arrives home and sees Sister Maggie on her stoop begging for shelter. Maggie is Selina's sister. Agatha agrees and lets Maggie stay. Maggie believes that Selina is cau...

The Cat, The Nun, and the Quiet Psychopath 2

So after a long wait Sirens is back but it really didn't impress me.   Plot After Blackest night and the Black Skull fiasco Maggie Kyle is back and still not too right in the head. This time she wants to settle things with Selina once and for all. While Poison Ivy deals with a bitter ex-employee.    My Opinion I'm not going to sugar coat it this issue need to be better. As I read through i was expecting something (Action-wise) to happen it didn't now i don't like two-parter arcs but with sirens ...
