I pretty much knew the plot from the pilot episode as it focused around the murder of the Waynes, and I'm sure that will be a long running theme throughout this season. What I really wanted to see was what other villains and cases will Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock work? You can't really use a lot of Batman villains, because Bruce is only 12 years old, so we see a lot of younger characters who will grow with the series, but I don't want this to be a generic cop show either. All the Little Children 0

Last week, I mentioned how the fact that Gotham had a halfway decent pilot episode is a minor miracle. The same generally holds true for Gotham second episodes the oddly titled “Selina Kyle”. Danny Cannon also directed this episode and while its budget is noticeably smaller, notice the lack of outdoor shooting, shows what Gotham can look like on a weekly basis which is still darkly beautiful and intriguing television series. The show is still at its best when focused on the relations...
