Proper Japanese Title: ゴルゴ13
Originally serialized in Big Comic from the late 60's, though the magazine is published by Shogakukan, the collections are through Leed (the company of the author, Takao Saito). As of November 2022, the series is officially the longest manga series of all time, surpassing the Kochikame record (201) of most volumes for 1 series, and the Dokaben series record (205) of most volumes for 1 franchise. In September 2021, the creator, Takao Saito passed away at the age of 84, and the series continues now under the supervision of Saito Production.
One interesting fact about the series is that Saito was the first mangaka to have an assistant team to help him in the series, some of his assistant were Kazuo Koike, Yoichi Funado, and Takashi Nagasaki.
It should also be noted that unlike other long-running series, this one works like "The Amazing Spider-Man" series or the original "Batman" series, where there are many people involved that are in charge of the stories, with them being credited in the chapter list of the volumes (since Volume 154).
Another interesting fact is that there are some stories that weren't reprinted in volumes, due to them dealing with controversial things of the era, like money laundering on the Vatican City, or an actor being blackmailed after someone discovers he has AIDS.
First edition, also available in a bunkokan edition, Golgo 13.
There's also an "special selection" English translation by Viz Media, that includes some of the most popular Golgo 13 stories
Editor's Note: The numbering show inside each volume it's not the correct one at all, it's only a numbering based on the page order. The reason for doing this is because the volumes normally put the chapters in a different order than the original, alongside some chapters not being available in this edition, and counting the "Special" chapters as normal ones.
