    The Edge-Guard, Gina, Brianna and their dad are absorbed into Bain, and Julia is taking a severe beating. Within Bain, Gina learns that it and its two companions, Dain (held by the Shadow Elves) and Rain (the Edge-Guard's Jasper of Leadership) are ancient pocket-dimension arks, and some of their occupants BUILT Jade to hide those arks. Then Tirant turns the ship's security systems against the assembled heroes!
