So we all should admit that Goku isn't the most powerful anime character ever, I want to know why people don't consider that fact.

Because they are hardcore & Bias fanboys They wank DBS characters into whole new level

Anyone who says Goku is the most powerful character doesn't watch DBS

This can be due to many reasons and I'll list the obvious ones first

• Favoritism
• Bias
• Ignorance
• Stupidity
• Power Scaling
• Immature Behavior

I think a more logical answer as to why is simply because "Son Goku" is the most recognizable anime character because lets face it everyone knows who he is and if your by any change a person that doesn't know then you've either been LITERALLY living under a rock or are just outright stupid (No offense but Goku is pretty much just as recognizable as Superman at this point)

Goku shares similarities towards Superman being portrayed to be this incredibly power character who protects the weak and are achievers of the impossible, He's a character that can essentially break any limit put in front of him in the story.

I'd say as the main hero and protagonist he is most certainly one of the most powerful however in all of anime fiction that is not the case as I can name numerous characters that are on a completely different level than Goku such as STTGL, Dark Schneider, Jin Mo Ri, Gods of destruction, Angels, Zeno and many more.

As of now He is still growing in his story so it's possible for him to surpass these characters and many more however as of right now he isn't close to them.

@chronicplane: Goku isn't stuck in Superman's tier anymore especially with his new form which even Gods of Destruction find hard to attain and that they fear it, it wasn't since SSJ God actually and after that Universe shaking feat. Current UI Goku is a skyfather level being who has Mastery of Self-Movement. Goku is pretty versatile he also has Reactive Evolution, Zenkai, Instant Transmission, Hakai and Mafuba(Sealing technique), resistance to Time manipulation, Existence erasure etc . Also Jin Mori here really lmao?

This is correct

The same reason that everyone believes, when it comes down to it, Superman will always be there to save the day. Think how, in-universe, people look to Superman as THE man. The one who can't fail. The inspiration for them to do better and hold their own.

Goku is the same way. There's this in-universe mystique that manages to seep into the real world, that a lot of other characters just don't have, mainly because a lot of them just don't have the aura of carrying a series on their back and influencing so much material afterwards the way Goku and Dragonball has.

He can't even solo his own verse.

its simply popularity.i used to think the same too when i didn't know much about anime.but as you watch other anime .you clearly see thats not the case

Goku isn't the most powerful anime Character but he is one of the most powerful Heroes be it Anime, Manga or Comics combined.
