    Story- On the shore of Monster Island, a man finds himself being chased by gangsters who mean to kill him. While he is trying to escape his assailants, he finds that there is far more to fear on Monster Island than some thugs. Flashbacks show us how the man came to be in this situation, and after a short tussle between Godzilla and another monster, the man is found by some of the natives of the island.     This is a "Snakes on a Plane" kind of comic in that I'm sure most comic readers have a pretty good idea whether they are going to enjoy it without needing to look inside.  This was a no-brainer purchase for me because I'm a giant Godzilla fan, but if you're on the fence, hopefully this short description of the first issue will swing you:   SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content.In this comic, a heroic police officer who is about to be executed by gangsters escapes to monster island...
