Giselle Gewelle (ジゼル・ジュエル, Jizeru Jueru)is an antagonist of the BLEACH series that was created by Tite Kubo, It first began serialization Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2001. He was first introduced alongside the other Quincy during the The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc that began in Volume 55.

His first appearance was in BLEACH Volume 61 CH. 544 "Walking With Watchers".

Giselle has long black hair that extends down to his lower back and two strands sticking out like antennae. He has blue eyes. His attire is a variation of the typical Sternritter white uniform, consisting of a trench coat with long sleeves, white shoes, and black leggings. He also wears a small cap.

At first glance Giselle appears to be a happy-go-lucky and cheerful young girl, but this is a facade. He also maintains a goofy/happy face even in dire situations. Despite the cheerful personality, he can be very cruel and this is proven on the battlefield when he ordered infected zombie Shinigami to kill themselves, and when he abused Bambietta Basterbine and killed her.

Giselle has an antagonistic relationship with Candice Catnipp but has no problems aiding her in battle as seen during Candice's fight with Ichigo Kurosaki.

Giselle is seemingly attracted to Bambietta

    Powers & Abilities

The Zombie - When Giselle's blood touches a victim's skin, that victim becomes his "zombie" and obeys every order that Giselle gives them.

Great Endurance - Giselle can withstand a high amount of damage and still survive.

Flight - Giselle can fly using his wings when he is in Vollstandig form.

The Zombie - The Zombie does not work on living Quincies and Giselle would have to kill them if she wants to control them. It is also limited by the amount of spirit energy the other person has, taking a proportional amount of blood to properly infect and control.
