I did not have GI Joe growing up. The Lone Ranger was my first action figure. Then, it was The Six Million Dollar Man. Then the Mego DC and Marvel super heroes. The Bog guns: Batman and Robin, Superman; Captain America, The Hulk and Spider-Man. But no Joes. My buddies had Joes. The Classic Joe. And firecrackers.
