Daniel Abraham continues to marvel me with his adaptation of George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire - Game of Thrones", creating a solid foundation of the characters and even when he changes minor details, like in the dialogue with Eddard Stark and his daughter Arya, he preserves the core, the essence of the characters. This issue is very important because it helps to sell Tyrion's image as a benefactor, as oppose to a person that only thinks of himself, not exactly an altruist, but a person that cares for "broken things", meaning he's a fixer, that's a characteristic that will develop in the future, Tyrion isn't a bad guy, sure he's a Lannister (and a creep), but he's not evil, and this issue really stands out for that. I'm amazed by Patterson's art, I hope he continues to be the artist in this book, also that there will be another season! This issue is more about Tyrion and Arya, so it's lots of fun, Daniel nails the dialogues, in some only copying from the book, in others with a sharp sense for the adaptation. This series continues to sell greatness! Recommended!
