SINESTRO CORPS WAR spread a vicious and bloody war across the cosmos. FLASHPOINT literally changed the entire DC universe and was even the inspiration for a DC animated movie. Both are absolutely huge in scope and packed with A-listers, but which Geoff Johns' event do you enjoy more? Will his work with artist Andy Kubert race to victory in the poll or will Thaal Sinestro refuse to suffer defeat? Prepare to choose, Viners.

Still haven't read either of these epics or do you want to reread them? Well, that won't be a problem! The poll is open until Friday morning (ET). That's more than enough time to think this through and pick a side, right? Also, this gives you plenty of time to convince others why one story deserves to take the victory. And if you think the poll isn't going the way it should, you have a few days to spread the word and bring in more voters. Needless to say, there's an adequate amount of time for the poll to fluctuate. Finally, if your post is legitimately full of win, there's a chance we'll highlight it in Friday's article as the "Viner Post of the Week." Sinestro Corpss War easily.

Personally I would have used Geoff's Flash run vs his Green Lantern or JSA run.

Sinestro Corps War was single handedly responsible for making me a Green Lantern fan and making me aware of who Geoff Johns was.

How is this a contest? Sinestro Corps war. It was slightly confusing with the backstory but it had a beginning and end.

I prefer Flash Rebirth and Ignition over Flashpoint.

I'd vote Sinestro Corps

Definitely Sinestro corps war. One of the best Geoff Johns=Green Lantern stories and probably one of the best comic story lines period.

Flashpoint was ok. Nothing too special imo besides for kicking off the new 52.

Wow this is tough. I just read Flashpoint last year so it's a little fresher in my mind. I think I need to reread Sinestro Corps War before voting.

For a suggestion, how about Loebs Superman/Batman against his Red Hulk :D

No brainer here Sinestro corps war was fantastic where Flashpoint was one of the weakeat of Johns events.

Easily Sinestro Corp War. It had a suddeness and clarity that Flashpoint really lacked, which is why Flashpoint Paradox is such a good adaptation of the story arc.

Flashpoint was horrible. Sinestro Corps War by a landslide, not to mention its one of my favorite crossovers of all time.

I haven't read the Sinestro Corps War, although I would like to eventually. Flashpoint was really interesting though.

Sinestro Corps War is still the greatest comic event I've ever read. Flashpoint doesn't hold a candle to it. It was almost entertaining at best.

Flashpoint was very disappointing in the end. Sinestro Corps War is incredible. Not even a contest...

WOW. Now this is a tough one to call. SCW seems like the overall better choice even tho Flashpoint was amazing.

@pokeysteve: Loeb's Hulk run wasn't really his best work.

I choose Sinestro Corps War because it truly felt epic and it introduced the entire emotional spectrum. Green Lantern has been my favorite series since I read issue 25, the finale of the War.

Siniestro Corps war easily. Flashpoint was kind of mediocre IMO

if this was blackest night vs infinite crisis my head would of exploded.

I am actually so mad with the franchise that I will probably won't play it :-P

@squalleon: because of the huge delay with KH3 and the crappy hand held games (minus DDD and BBS those were good) and the huge slap in the face with it not being for PS3 and PS4 only?

going with Flashpoint

SCW hands down. Was an amazing story. Flashpoint, though an interesting concept, aided in killing the DCU.

I haven't actually read it yet. Was he on X-Men or am I thinking of someone else. Some one that the DC fans are meh about was loved over at Marvel and I can't remember who.

I'd have to go for Sinestro Corps War. Now don't get me wrong, Flashpoint was a good read, but it just doesn't add up to the majesty that was the real scope of the conflict that ingited the War of Light. Sinestro and his corps launched a campaign that stretched the Universe and was such a masterful epic.
