Depending on circumstances, I could see him beating Cap.

It depends on the circumstances. For instance, if he could touch Iron Man's armour then he would win.

Wolverine. Charge his skeleton. Possibly anybody, if he were playing for keeps. If he charged a dagger, threw into their eye, head goes boom.

I like Gambit, but I don't see him beating Iron Fist either, especially after Danny's power upgrade. Yes Gambit can throw things at him, but Danny has dodged bullets before. And though Gambit is an excellent martial artist and good hand to hand fighter, Danny murders him in those areas as well.

The only reason Gambit couldn't beat Iron Man or Cap or Iron Fist is because Marvel wouldn't let him.  I'm not saying they couldn't beat him given the right circumstances but the same hold true the other way.  Gambit can charge Iron man's armor easily if Marvel would let him or Iron man could hit him even though Gambit is way faster than Wolverine and is a much better hand to hand than he's been given credit for in years.  They all have the ability to take the other depending on how and why they meet and who gets the drop on who and Gambit easily is the dirtier fighter of most of them.

Gambit beat Gladiator with a deck of cards in an issue, I forget which one though, He has beaten wolverine twice although he wasnt fighting fairl. He used to be able to create card shaped energy projectiles which were pure energy, but after seeing new sun/son he was scarred of what he might become so he got mr sinister to dampen his powers

Gambit has a very interesting skill/power set. He has superhuman strength, speed, and agility. Plus, each playing card has the explosive force of a hand grenade. A typical hand grenade has a casualty radius of 15 meters, or a 30 meter diameter. There are 52 cards in a deck. He generally rolls with many decks on his person. That's an enormous amount of explosive power in his pockets alone. And that's just his cards. He also has a fighting staff. But he can also charge any object or surface. Imagine Gambit picking up a handful of sand, dirt, glass or gravel, and charging it and throwing it. It would make for a huge multilayered-explosion. Imagine if he fully charged a car or truck. He could flatten multiple city blocks. His charged objects can either explode after a predetermined amount of time, or upon physical contact; depending on his choosing. His ability to charge surfaces gives him the ability to create explosive booby traps at every turn. Gambit is also a master of stealth, due to his enhanced agility and thievery skills.

I would say, if properly written and he fights intelligently, he should be able to take out the likes of Venom, Wolverine, Captain America, Cyclops, Beast, Sabretooth, Daredevil (challenging fight), Carnage, War Machine, Dr. Octopus, The Thing, Strong guy, Wolfsbane, Marrow, Deadpool (by dismemberment), Doc Samson, Black Widow, and Hawkeye (if Gambit gets lucky). That's just off the top of my head.
