It was previously released that actor Channing Tatum has been selected by Fox to play the Ragin' Cajun, but it's been unclear whether he'd show up in an X-Men movie or get his own adventure. Many of the people involved have said they want the latter, and now, according to Deadline, it looks like that's going to happen. The site says Fox has "officially attached Tatum as star, and to produce with his Free Association partner Reid Carolin, The Donners Company’s Lauren Shuler Donner, and Genre Films’ Simon Kinberg."

Remy LeBeau, a.k.a. Gambit, will be heading to the big screen and Joshua Zetumer (RoboCop) will write the screenplay. His screenplay will be based on Chris Claremont's treatment. As you probably know, Claremont co-created the X-Man. No word yet on when we can expect Remy's movie to be released. Now that it's moving forward, we can't help but wonder if they'll find a way to tease the character in Bryan Singer'sX-Men: Apocalypse. Are you happy to see Gambit's getting his own movie?

Eh. I found nothing special about the new RoboCop. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't overly good either.

I'm getting Comicbook Movie Fatigue, has that phrase been coined yet it's like event fatigue but for movies but I digress. I'm genuinely very excited by all of these amountcments a speculation talk that has surfaced in recent months but when I take a step back and look at things objectively It's a little overwhelming.
