So as we all know, Taylor Kitsch is playing him in the new Wolverine film. For better or worse, he'll be on screen for all of about two minutes. Anyway, I digress. I've been wanting to read his "Origin" story from the comics and I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction? I've "read" the origin story on various fansites, the marvel site and the wiki site. I'm after the actual comic(s) that explains/shows his origins. Can you guys help me out?

Also, as a side note, what would you Gambit fans like to see out of a Gambit spin-off film? (Note: This film is being looked at, it's just going to be several years off as they want to see how Wolverine does first and go from there...)
