    The Plot Thickens

A brilliant continuation to what was a more than impressive first issue. I said this last time and I'll say it again I just feel that Clay Mann's art really suites the Gambit as a character and James Asmus really seems to not just know how to right the character very good, but be able to right all these fancy we stealth thief trick whilst making it feel a bit real but also exciting.

This issue continues not long after the last one left off. Gambit in the mean time has enlisted the help of Fence to try and get the relic Gambit stole from Borya Cich last issue. With no luck they trace to where the relic was before Cich gained possession if it and Gambit heads down to try and find some information on the relic. Gambit returns at night to the museum that had the relic wearing his stealthy black suite that was revealed last issue. After getting through lasers he notices some of the staff knocked out and gets into a tussle with the woman responsible who he finds out is the woman that helped him out previous issue. The two continue onto the roof and the woman realises Gambit has the relic she's been after all along. After failing to remove it she sends Gambit through the sky light and he is arrest by the police. But he did manage to grab a map from the woman before he fell. After freeing himself from the police and attepting to run over the woman in revenge the two decide it is better of them working together.

This was an amazing issue and I am happy to see Gambit get a couple of very respectable issues under his belt. I really like how we found out more about this woman and am looking forward too seeing what happens between the two of them.

Final verdict. One of the best X related series I have read over the last few months and I would highly recommend it.

    Rating: 4/5

      A second decent issue 0

The story so far as shown in Gambit #1. In the last issue we saw Gambit still a seemingly innocent-looking, yet worthwhile device of some sort, from a man named Borya Cich who earns part of his livelihood by funding supervillains. The Ragin’ Cajun attended a rather swanky gala at Cich’s immaculate mansion. In typical fashion, he chatted up an attractive, quick-witted woman who caught his eye while simultaneously eyeing up Cich’s security and covertly gathering all the information he would need t...

Good follow up to a strong first issue 0

The story picks up right where #1 left off and we are learning more about what's in Remy's chest. The story quickly progresses into a beautifully laid out museum heist where Gambit finds himself face to face with an unexpected acquaintance. Without giving to much of the story away, Remy now has a destination and it looks like its going to be an interesting ride, judging from next months cover.  While I don't think this book was as strong as #1, it was still a good read and just as its predecesso...
