This article is about the "original" Galahad created for Seven Soldiers of Victory.

Born in ancient Camelot, Galahad joined King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. He was the mentor of Ystin.

Galahad was created by Grant Morrison and Simone Bianchi. He made his first appearance in Seven Soldiers: Shining Knight #1. He is heavily based on the figure of Sir Galahad from Arthurian legend.

Major Story Arcs

Seven Soldiers of Victory

Galahad fights alongside his fellow knights against the Sheeda when they invade and begin to harrow Camelot. He survives the harrowing, and dwells underground for some time with the other remaining knights. He suggests the creation of the atom bomb to the other knights, which they use to end the reign of Mordredd the Dead. In the aftermath he is taken by the Sheeda, who torment him and ultimately break him. Serving as Gloriana's hound, he is set against Sir Ystin, whom he defeats in battle. He is ordered to break Ystin, but before he can do so Ystin kills him by cutting his head in half with his own swords.

Powers and Abilities

Galahad is an "optimum human;" as such he is extremely strong and durable. He is also very skilled in armed and unarmed combat; he is accounted the greatest of all the knights.

Weapons and Equipment

Galahad carries two swords. He wears armour, which protects him against blunt force injury.
