while awesome its a bit of a missed opportunity, they should have brought back both freeza and cooler, the antagonistic interaction between them would be awesome.

I personally think it's a wasted opportunity to do something new with DBZ, we could get a new villian instead of treading old grounds. Im guessing this connects to BoG and the rest of the universe through that one comment Beerus made about him being the one to send Frieza to destroy the Sayianns or whatever he said....pretty weakif this is true.....

I am all for going back, there's too many thing was left untold or unexplained.

I am actually glad Frieza is coming back but I don't know how he's going to pose a challenge. But let me guess; immortality or god power up is gonna be the way right? This is sounding a little predictable but there is definitely potential with throwing Frieza into the mix again alongside new characters like Beerus and Whis. Toriyama definitely needs to do something with all these 12 universes though, it's too good an opportunity to gloss over.

Excited for this movie though, DEFINITELY a good chance for vegeta to finally avenge his race.

I was really hoping to see the original Super Saiyan. Seriously. There were bound to be saiyans as strong as Goku and Vegeta. Their origin story would have been more than interesting. Hopefully another movie comes out with the original super saiyan. Hell Akira recycles plots all the time so he might as well make the same exact movie, except the wish is for the original Super Saiyan to be brought back instead of Freeza. Lol.

Anyways, this movie's probably going to blow more than Battle of Gods.

Battle of gods was decent. A lot better than what I expected it to be.

Let me guess, then Frieza does the fusion dance with Cell, then Buu absorbs them, and they become Majin Friecell.

And then a new villain show up and stomps Majin Friecell and after that he stomps all the Z fighters, then Goku somehow gets a huge power up and defeats a new villain.

I have returned to express how stupid this seems. It just would feel tiresome if Frieza just simply gets a huge zenkai boost or something. Shouldn't Whis or Beerus just stomp him either way? Or does Frieza somehow get his immortality wish and/or god powers?

As long as Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin all get a power boost too.

Nope. You said why can't Toriyama create a new villain as if he never creates anyone new. He created Bills and Whis last movie, and planted the seeds for tons of others, give the man a break. Point still stands.

my point is in the new movie, they are bringing back freeza. bills and whis already appeared in the last movie so they are not new so it's irrelevant for me that bills and whis are there.

whatever you think your point says is irrelevant because they didn't create a new character or a new villain, they just rehashed it again.

@micah: i was already critical on them when broly returned twice and look what it turned on the second time. . cooler was a bit better but lack-lustered in the end, being defeated by an overload. freeza being a joke villian by the end of the series would get a whole lot of powerups that it would make more sense to create a villain for it.

i know what they planned to it but their history of returning villians ain't on their side. i suggest you do the research on returning villians of dragonball.

I know that, but Broly's first two movies were good. Cooler was good, I don't know why they turned Frieza into a joke by the end of the series, but I guess everyone just became that much powerful. My point is don't count this film out because of his return Akira will do Frieza justice this time around.

If your a long time fan of DB and Z then you should love it. If your just on the bandwagon for the fights and not character development, character interactions, or story.......then you might not enjoy it.......

Both sequel movies had a good plot, enjoyable characters, well choreographed fights, great music......what more did you want?
