The fifth film of its series. Years have passed since Jason Voorhees was killed with a machete. Tommy Jarvis, the boy responsible, has passed them moving from mental institution to mental institution. When a copycat killer emulating Jason starts killing the patients in Tommy's latest residence, Tommy' fragile sanity is threatened once again.
